I started dancing at Performing Arts Academy at the age of 2.  As a young dancer, I was often afraid to go into class; I worried about making friends and being scared of the teachers.  Once I got the courage to go inside, I realized that all my worries were unnecessary.  Performing Arts Academy helps students to grow, both in their dance ability and their personal lives.

Miss Dawn and Miss Meghan, along with many of my other teachers have worked so hard to teach me about hard work, loyalty, and dedication.  It’s really because of the great teaching environment and atmosphere that I have grown into the dancer and person I am today.

I can't thank Performing Arts Academy enough for giving me a chance to dance with other very talented boys and girls whom I will be friends with for the rest of my life, We are not just a team, but a family.

Dancing at PAA gave me the confidence and training I needed to pursue my dreams, which is why I was able to audition and earn a spot on Fordham University’s dance team.  I’m excited to continue working hard and performing in the years to come.

With all the great friends and memories I have made at PAA, leaving to go to college is going to be hard.  But I know that whenever I come back, I will always have a home at Performing Arts Academy.
